Scarf Swap

I finally got around to taking some photos with my scarf that I had received from the Scarf Swap hosted by The Concrete Catwalk,  Kendi Everyday, Kansas Couture, and My Edit.  My scarf partner turned out to be Katie from Fashion Frugality!  Katie sent me this amazing vintage Avon scarf which was perfect to wrap all my hair up in this summer heat.

Dog Beach

Last weekend we took our dogs to the dog beach which they absolutely love!  Usually I am pretty much covered in sand and dog drool by the time I leave, so I threw on this casual number.  My fave fedora is perfect to protect me from the FL heat and sun.

This was a day where I took a break from my 30 for 30.  I have just been loving all the flowly shorts this season, especially in all their fun patterns.  I just can't seem to get enough of them!

I had seen this necklace at Nordstrom BP for a while and finally decided I had to have it.  I love it's size and how it's such a great addition to any outfit.

Yesterday we headed out to the CuervoGames here in Tampa.  It has been so hot, so I swept up all my hair and put on some summer shorts.

Yeah!  It is finally Friday.  After a long week, I came home and got dressed for a fun night out.  I am taking a break from my 30 for 30 and also broke down and decided to take my own photo.  This top is perfect for a night out in summer or winter here in FL.

So here's to starting the 30 for 30 challenge with my first outfit!  Lately shorts and my fedora have become my weekend staple. 

EBEW - Bohemian Lace

After traveling last weekend and working all week, I was exhausted and just wanted to be lazy today.  I pretty much spent the entire day in my pajamas, working on my 30 for 30.  I decided to finally shower and spruce it up a bit for the night.  I love anything with a bohemian feel so I just had to pick up this top recently from Forever 21.  Bre from Atlantic Pacific has the same top and I just loved the way she had styled it.

This past weekend I was in Washington DC and the weather was amazing, especially compared to the FL summer heat that I have been used to lately.  This romper was perfect for roaming the city and transitioned well into the night with some wedges.

30 for 30

I have decided to take Kendi's 30 for 30 challenge.  I'm excited and ready for the challenge!  I have been been on a slight spending spree lately with shopping, traveling and unfortunately some new tires so I think I am going to take this time to re-mix my outfits and stay away from the mall.  Hopefully I can make it.  I started making a list of my options but will finalize this weekend!  Can't wait to check out all the sites taking the challenge.

Red Everywhere

Just recently I decided to start experimenting with some different red lipsticks.  Kendi from Kendi Everyday posted that she always wears Sephora It Girl which looks great on her.  I just had to go out and try for myself.  It's a great red orange color and I have loved wearing it!  It goes perfect with this red dress that I snatched up at Target for $20.

Tribal Maxi

Maxi's are great to mix up in all seasons.  I wore this during the fall and winter with a long cardigan and now am excited to pair it with a flowy peasant top.  Love it's tribal feel! 

That 70's Show

I am loving the new 70's inspired style for Spring.  I found a great pair of flare jeans at Forever 21 similar to these and have already worn them several times.  It is a nice break from the skinny jeans, although I know my skinny's will remain a staple.  I am loving the flares in white too!

The weather has been amazing lately so we decided to venture out for a nice lunch outside today.  This has been one of my favorite tops ever since I bought it.  It has a great bohemian flowy vibe.  I'm sure I will be posting it much more and mixing it up with different bottoms.
